The critical examination of topics of the Anthropocene, thoughts on sustainability, the conscious use of resources and cycles as well as networked structures are exactly the questions that push her in her artistic practice as a sculptor.


Characteristic of her work is the examination of fragile, interpersonal structures, personal experiences and the confrontation with the (political)environment. The human body with all its fragility plays an important role. We are always in contact with our environment and the materials that surrounds us: natural processes of the organism, microscopic structures,neuroscientific insights and theory of perception lead to poetic and fragile sculptures and installations made of glass and porcelain.

As a member of the artist collective BLOCKADIA*Tiefsee, she partakes in discussions that focus on what surrounds us under the influence of new technologies, economic and ecological forces and transformations.Referring to Dona Haraways “Make Kin Not Babies!“, making kin is perhapsthe hardest and most urgent venture nowadays. Its the individual responsibility, the idea of common space and the interdisciplinary approach which are essential when it comes to producing art today.
